Parked vehicles catch fire

MARGAO: Some miscreants on Tuesday allegedly torched four vehicles parked by the roadside of Eastern Bypass at Gogal, on Tuesday afternoon. 

At least four commercial vehicles, some parked permanently and some which have been brought for repairs at a garage, at Vidyanagar, Gogal, opposite the Munj Vihar Building, was allegedly set on fire.

The fire fighters manage to avoid a major damage. An owner of a pick-up informed that he had kept his vehicle for repairs and ruled out any short circuit as the battery of the vehicle was removed.

In the incident, one Tata Winger, one Tempo Traveller, one Tata Pick-Up and a luxury bus caught fire. The suspicion increased as all the four vehicles were parked distantly from each other.
