Post-COVID care clinic starts at old Hospicio

MARGAO: A post-COVID care clinic has been started at the old Hospicio. The clinic will cater to the discharged patients from the South District hospital of COVID, especially those who have co-morbidities.

The Medical Superintendent of Hospicio, Dr Deepa Correia, said the clinic will operate every Thursday from 2 to 4.30 pm.

As per the guidelines of the ‘National Protocol’, AYUSH and yoga are being promoted for post COVID care management. A comprehensive plan for the  clinic has been designed for continued medical treatment. Dicharged patients who have completed 17 days of isolation have been urged to come to the clinic.
