MARGAO: The Margao Town Police on Monday busted a sex racket by arresting three persons and rescuing a woman near the railway overbridge.

At around 3 pm, police arrested two customers -- Munawar Shaikh and Uday Jeevan Ram, both Uttar Pradesh natives, working as labourers in Margao. Police also arrested Ajay Chauhan, a paanwala, who was allegedly running the prostitution racket near a bar.

A 35-year-old woman, a migrant, who was lured into the prostitution racket, has been rescued. The woman will be sent to Apna Ghar.
