Proud moment for Goa as auditorium in Mumbai named after Dr Ramani

Dr Ramani is known for his neuro spinal surgery technique called PLIF (Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion) Ramani Technique.

PANJIM: It was a proud moment for Goa as an auditorium in the name of the renowned neuro-spinal surgeon and social worker Dr P S Ramani was inaugurated at the LTMG (Sion) Hospital, Mumbai on Sunday.

Sion Hospital Dean Mohan Joshi inaugurated the auditorium in the presence of dignitaries. 

Last year, Dr P S Ramani Museum has inaugurated at the hands of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant at the Dr P S Ramani Sports Complex at Wadi-Talauli in Ponda taluka. An annual marathon titled “Dr P S Ramani Goa Marathon” is held in his name in Goa every year. 

Dr Ramani has also written and published 75 books. Currently, he is a senior neuro-spinal surgeon at Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai.
