PANJIM: The Goa police, as part of its campaign to spread awareness on steps to prevent cybercrimes, organised an interactive session with all the Sarpanchas in Margao Sub Division. Dy Superintendent of Police and Cyber Crime Sivendu Bhushan conducted the awareness session and disseminated guidelines and important tips to avoid online criminals.
The representatives of Panchayats were included as a target group with the aim that they will further spread awareness among the citizens in their respective villages. The Sarpanchas of Davorlim-Dicarpale, Rumdamol, Raia, Rachol and
others attended the
programme.
