Seraulim gram sabha adjourned

SERAULIM: Seraulim gram Sabha on Sunday was adjourned as no proper notice was served to the Seraulim villagers regarding the meeting.

Seraulim Sarpanch Leslie Dourado said “The Seraulim Village Panchayat had received the notice from the Salcete BDO requesting that the gram sabha be convened so a public notice informing the villagers was issued on February 24. But the Seraulim villagers insisted that the proper procedure of seven days intimation be followed. Hence, the gram sabha was adjourned and the new date will be decided at the Seraulim Village Panchayat Monthly meeting.”
