PANJIM: The State government on Thursday appointed Sneha Gitte, IAS, as Collector of North Goa District.
According to a government order, Gitte, a 2019 batch IAS Officer of AGMUT cadre, will continue to hold the additional charge of Director (Environment) and Member Secretary of Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) with effect from September 29, 2023.
The incumbent North Goa Collector Mamu Hage, IAS, will be relieved on September 29, to join her new posting in Arunachal Pradesh following her transfer order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), New Delhi in June this year.
Meanwhile, the government has given Education Secretary Prasad Lolayekar, IAS, additional charge of Director of Vigilance Department.
