
PANJIM: The judicial custody of Suchana Seth has been extended by another 14 days. The tech entrepreneur and CEO of Mindful AI Lab is facing serious allegations of murdering her four-year-old son in a service apartment in North Goa on January 7. The case has gained widespread attention not only for its shocking nature but also due to the involvement of a prominent data scientist and startup founder.
Suchana Seth’s cooperation is considered crucial by the investigating authorities, as it is expected to provide valuable insights and contribute to establishing a clearer understanding of the events leading up to the tragic incident.
The arrest of Suchana Seth took place in Karnataka, where she was apprehended while attempting to flee in a taxi from a service apartment in Sinquerim, Goa. The taxi driver, Royjohn D’Souza, played a key role in assisting Goa Police, leading to her arrest by the Chitradurga Police. The motive behind the alleged murder remains unclear, but during interrogation, Seth revealed details about a strained relationship with her husband, from whom she is currently separated.
During questioning, Suchana mentioned familial discord and their divorce proceedings as cause for the happenings. She was also unhappy with a court order allowing her estranged husband to meet their son every Sunday.
