PONDA: Marcaim MLA Sudin Dhavalikar on Thursday blamed PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar and PWD Engineers for closing Dhavlim flyover. He claimed that the road is safe and that Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant should inspect the flyover and open the flyover before Old Goa Feast.
He was speaking to media after launching hot mix carpeting work in three wards of Marcaim panchayat.
This flyover would help devotees from Margao to travel to Old Goa.
He pointed out that the closure of flyover also creates hardship to marriage ceremonies held in local temple as many vehicles are parked on road.
He said Chief Minister if feels there is need for repair then he can finish it with immediate effect and thereby the installing street lights he should open it before Old Goa feast.
