Supply of petroleum products 'will stay normal' in Goa

VASCO: The State level coordinator for oil industries in Goa has assured that the supply of petroleum products such as diesel, petrol and LPG will continue to remain normal. There is no need for people to panic.

Speaking to the media, State Level Coordinator for Oil Industries in Goa, Siddharth Swarup said that people do not have to panic and start panic buying of the petroleum products especially diesel, petrol, LPG etc and these commodities would continue to have  normal supply unabated.

He said that all 117 fuel stations and 53 LPG distributors of IOC, BPCL and HPCL are operational. “Our oil company officers along with channel partners, dealers, distributors, LPG delivery boys, pump attendants are working round the clock to ensure that the supply of fuel is maintained as usual in Goa,” he said.

Commenting on the LPG supply, Sawarup said that everything is under control as they have sufficient stocks with them and their supply chain is also functioning properly. He also advised people to follow the government advisory issued from time to time.
