PANJIM: Goa Police’s new Director General of Police I D Shukla on Tuesday asserted to promote green corridor while ensuring smooth vehicular movement in the State. In his maiden interaction with journalists on taking the charge as DGP, Shukla said he has reeled out a set of crucial issues like traffic, drug menace, etc, which will be tackled on priority.
“We will ensure that the green corridor is promoted…certain things will be protected and at the same time, traffic should be smooth,” he said.
“Tourists safety will be the highest priority followed by NDPS-related cases,” he added.
