PANJIM: Goa Police’s special women’s force--Pink Police--has come under scanner with a Taleigao resident alleging a lady cop from the squad joined a group of attackers to assault her on May 1.
A complaint has been filed against the Pink Police personnel with the Director General of Police Jaspal Singh and the Central Human Rights Organization while she awaits justice.
The incident unfolded when the complainant requested her neighbours, not to release sewage water into her compound. The request provoked her neighbours who brutally assaulted her on her head and sensitive areas.
“Ishwar Kuttikar grabbed me by my hair, dragged me out and punched me with fist blows. Nanil Kuttikar bit on my shoulder and Trupti Kuttikar started slapping and pulling my hair. Devu Kuttikar kept on kicking anywhere on my private parts, thighs and back. He ordered his wife Nanil, and Trupti to strip me nude,” Sachina said explaining her ordeal in a three-page complaint letter before the authorities.
She further said that while she was semi-conscious owing to constant attack, the Pink Police was called but here too, Sachina said, Vedha assaulted and shouted at her.
