Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday inspected the venue of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public meeting scheduled opposite BITS-Pilani campus at Zuarinagar-Sancoale on Saturday evening.
After inspecting the venue and reviewing the ongoing preparedness, Sawant said that Modi’s visit to the State will boost the morale of the people.
Stating that Modi ji will address a public meeting on Saturday evening, Sawant claimed that Modi’s visit will not only boost the morale of the people but also increase the winning lead of both the party Lok Sabha candidates by a huge margin as well.
Sawant said that nearly 50,000 people are expected to attend the meeting, which he added, will have a big impact on Goans who are looking forward to seeing the Prime Minister in person.
The Prime Minister had earlier addressed a meeting at Margao in February this year, while he was in the State to inaugurate the second edition of India Energy Week.
