CANACONA: A student of a reputed higher secondary school in Canacona has allegedly died while performing stunts which were being recorded for a short film on tik tok app on Monday evening at Dabel in Canacona. 

Suraj Gaonkar, 17 year resident of Keri-Salgini, was studying in 11th standard in a school located at Ordhofond in Canacona and was putting up at his aunt’s place at Dabel in Canacona. 

It is believed that he was performing stunts which were being recorded in a tik tok app which is banned in India on his mobile.

Sources told Herald that while performing those stunts he injured his neck which ultimately led to his death. 

Police was informed about the unfortunate death of the boy who was very popular amongst his classmates as well as teachers.

Police have registered a case of unnatural death and after conducting panchanama and post-mortem handed over the body to the family on Tuesday.
