PANJIM: A person who travelled from Maharashtra tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, while an infected patient recovered. With this, the State now has 31 active corona cases.
As per the bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services, a person who entered Goa by road from Maharashtra, tested positive and is currently admitted in the COVID hospital, Margao. His condition is stable.
Of the 983 samples tested on Thursday, 886 reported negative while one was positive. Reports of 96 samples are awaited.
Two new suspects were admitted in the isolation ward of Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC). On the other hand, one cured patient has been shifted out of the COVID hospital and is in quarantine at a hotel in Candolim.
