PANJIM: There was a major traffic jam on Atal Setu Bridge on Sunday afternoon after a truck caught fire while travelling on the bridge.
According to the Panjim Fire Station personnel, the fire spread to the cabin and within minutes the front side of the truck was completely gutted. The driver of the truck that had come from Mumbai had a lucky escape. Fire personnel eventually doused the fire but the incident led to a lengthy disruption in traffic movement.
