Union govt releases Rs 450.32 cr to Goa as share on taxes, duties

The funds are to be used by the State to accelerate its capital and developmental expenditure.

PANJIM: The Government of India has released Rs 450.32 crore to Goa as its share of the net proceeds of Union taxes and duties for August 2022. 

The funds are to be used by the State to accelerate its capital and developmental expenditure. 

The Union government released two instalments of tax devolution to State governments amounting to Rs 1,16,665.75  crore on August 10, 2022, as against the normal monthly devolution of Rs 58,332.86  crore.
