Siolim is abuzz with preparations for the highly anticipated Sao Joao Traditional Boat Parade cum cultural festival, scheduled to take place near St. Anthony's Church on June 24 at 3:30pm, Organised by the Sao Joao Traditional Boat Festival & Cultural Organization in collaboration with the Directorate of Art and Culture, the event upholds the festival's traditional essence. Marking the feast of St. John the Baptist, the festival has become a beloved tradition over the past three decades, capturing the hearts of locals and visitors alike. The festivities will kick off with the much-anticipated traditional boat parade, showcasing decorated boats sailing along the route followed by an entertainment programme, attendees will also be awarded spot prizes.
