MARGAO: Minister for Public Works Department Nilesh Cabral assured to start the tarring of road dug up for laying sewage pipeline before monsoon as he held a important meeting with Colva Village Panchayat and other concerned authorities on Friday.
Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas, besides Suzie Fernandes, Sarpanch of Village panchayat Colva and others attended the meeting. Cabral also inspected some of the sites pertaining to the sewage network issues and especially the sewerage pumping station.
As informed by the Sarpanch, the Minister deliberated on the pending works of the sewerage network in the jurisdiction of Colva panchayat and assured to complete them at the earliest.
"The Minister has assured to start the tarring of the remaining roads which were dug up for laying sewage pipelines before Easter and to complete the work before arrival of the monsoon," said the sarpanch.
