PANJIM: FC Goa's journey ended in the semi-finals but a few Goan football enthusiasts took the road to Bengaluru to back their favourite team! Yes, it's for Bengaluru FC.

Around 12 fans from Goa led by Rohit Pagi witnessed the final clash between Chennaiyin FC and Bengaluru FC at Sree Kanteerava Stadium, on Saturday. 

Though the results didn't turn out in their favour, they showed that there is always that special romance with football and the club. 

"I have been supporting BFC since 2013. People ask us why BFC. Well football and club is like a love affair," said Rohit Pagi.

The fans had prepared a banner showing their love towards Goan lad Lenny Rodrigues. 

While 10 travelled from Goa, 30 more joined them in Bengaluru.

"We got in touch with other Goan Bengaluru FC fans who are working in Bengaluru. And like around 30 plus Goan fans attended the match at Kanteereva Stadium,” explained Pagi.
