Panjim motorists raise concerns over diesel leakage from heavy vehicles near KTC bus stand

Panjim motorists have raised serious concerns over a growing issue of fuel spillage on the main road near Ambedkar Garden opposite the KTC bus stand.  This issue poses a significant threat to daily commuters, as evidenced by a recent incident where a female rider from Porvorim slipped on the road due to spilt diesel oil.

On Friday a two-wheeler rider coming from Porvorim was heading towards Panjim when the rider slipped due to the fuel spillage and fell near the sharp turn intersection near Panjim KTC bus stand opposite Ambedkar garden. Luckily the woman rider escaped unharmed. Fortunately, the pink force vehicle, passing by the same route, stopped and helped the distressed.

Immediately, Panjim Fire and Emergency Services were called to take care of the situation. Panjim Firefighters responded to the incident and reached the spot quickly. Firefighters cleared the road by covering it with dry soil. Additionally, Panjim police helped in clearing the traffic that was caused due to the incident. They also alerted the ongoing commuters about the incident and advised them to go slow till the firefighters finish their job. However, the motorists have demanded immediate action to address this recurring problem to ensure the safety of all road users in the area.
