A 3.4 magnitude earthquake struck Kishtwar at Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. According to reports from the National Center for Seismology (NCS), locals experienced tremors late at night. The seismic event occurred at 1:33 am, with its epicentre located at a depth of 30 kilometres. Despite the quake's moderate intensity, there have been no reports of damages or casualties resulting from the tremors.
The earthquake, with its epicentre in Kishtwar, prompted concerns among residents in the region. However, the NCS provided assurance through their statement on X, confirming the earthquake's details and emphasizing its relatively low magnitude.
