A 34-year-old Woman from Patna, Bihar, was found dead in a rented room at Dongarpur Naikwaddo, Calangute. As per information, the woman had come to Goa, two days ago with a male friend. It is suspected that the woman had tragically taken her own life by hanging herself using a saree. Her body was discovered by her male acquaintance, 26-year-old Amrender Kumar from Patna, who forcefully opened the locked room. The deceased's body was taken to PHC Candolim and later transferred to GMC Bambolim for postmortem examination.
Authorities have also recorded statements from the parents of the deceased. According to her father, Sanjana was married, and her husband resides in Patna, Bihar. The couple has a 13-year-old daughter. Further investigation into the matter is on by PSI Kiran Naik, under the supervision of PI Calangute PS Paresh Naik, and overseen by SDPO Porvorim Vishwesh Karpe.
