A major fire broke out in a godown, at Vijayawada, Andra Pradesh; crores of property loss

A major fire broke out at a godown in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, resulting in the loss of property worth Rs 5 crore. The incident occurred in the Bandar Road area of the city, where a medical godown was completely gutted by the fire. 

The fire was initially spotted by locals who noticed smoke coming from one part of the building, which eventually spread to engulf the entire warehouse. Upon receiving the alert, several fire tenders rushed to the scene and worked to bring the fire under control. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported during the incident.

The exact cause of the fire is still unknown, and investigations are likely to be conducted to determine the reason behind the blaze. G Srinivasulu, a senior fire officer in Vijayawada, confirmed that no injuries or casualties were reported, and the situation was brought under control.

The loss due to the fire is estimated to be around Rs 5 crore. This incident highlights the importance of fire safety measures and precautions to prevent such incidents and protect valuable property.
