six people, including an infant, were killed when a car rammed into a stationary truck on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada national highway. The accident occurred in the early hours of Thursday near Srirangapuram in Kodada town. 

According to the information provided a car that met with an accident was carrying 10 people from Hyderabad to Vijayawada. The car was at full speed when it hit the stationary truck, which had broken down on and parked at the side of the road. the impact of the collision was so hard that it claimed the lives of six people including an infant.

The major accident took place when the family was on a trip. After the accidents occurred people around the area rushed to the site and immediately informed ambulance and police. 

However, before the ambulance arrived it was witnessed that six persons from the car were dead on the spot and others remaining were injured. After the arrival of 108 injured were shifted to the hospital for further treatment. 

Police officials conducted Panchanama of the site and other investigations are underway. Police are investigating to determine the exact cause of the accident. 

Meanwhile, it is informed that three children were safe who were present in the car, but another woman was in critical condition. The deceased was found to be a resident of L Govindapuram village in Khammam district.
