Goa Congress and its frontal organizations and Congress workers joined the nationwide protest against inflation, unemployment the Agneepath scheme and GST on essential items. They questioned the BJP govt for its failure to control inflation. The workers were detained by the police for protesting against the same. Aldona MLA Carlos Alvares Ferreira stated that the government spends money on wrong priorities rather than on the common man who is suffering.
