Excise team seizes liquor from two different trucks at the Patradevi check post

Pernem excise team raided two Maharashtra registered vehicles and seized alcohol of different brands at the Patradevi check post. While one vehicle was carrying Plastic scraps, the other was carrying Plastic chairs. The total alcohol and other goods seized including the cost of the vehicle is worth almost Rs 40 lakh.  Due to the ongoing Gujarat elections, the excise team is conducting detailed checking of alcohol. Further investigation is on to ascertain if the trucks belong to the same owner.
