Tragedy struck on Friday morning as three lives were lost and eight individuals sustained injuries in a collision on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway near Borghat. According to officials, the accident unfolded when a truck, facing brake failure, lost control on the expressway and collided with two vehicles—a car and a tempo transporting chickens. The incident occurred around 4 am, resulting in a devastating scene on the busy thoroughfare.
Emergency responders swiftly arrived at the scene, and the injured were promptly transported to a hospital in Khopoli for urgent medical attention.
