Former Member of
Parliament Churchill Alemao announced his openness to contest the upcoming Lok
Sabha elections independently, emphasizing a direct link to the people rather
than affiliating with any political party.
Alemao, expressed
his willingness to stand for elections based on the public's demand, asserting,
"I don’t need any party; I will contest on the ‘people's ticket’ if the
citizens show the desire for my representation."
Churchill Alemao
is known for his past affiliations with various political parties. He further
said that it is the people who elect you not the party. All this while people
have elected me, and if they I will contest Lok Sabha elections in 2024.
