The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has announced the results of the SSC (Class 10) examinations for the year 2024. The results were declared on Wednesday by GBSHSE, Porvorim, following the examinations conducted from April 1st to April 24th, 2024.
Out of the total 18,914 students who appeared for the examinations, 17,473 have passed, marking a pass percentage of 92.38%. The consolidated result sheet will be accessible for download from the school login portal starting May 17th, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. onwards.
Students can access their results via various online platforms, including the official GBSHSE website (www.gbshse.in), http://results.gbshsegoa.net/#/, and the Digilocker Portal by the Government of India.
The results booklet is also available on the official website of the Board for download purposes. Additionally, the examination saw 408 schools participating, comprising 319 aided, 11 unaided, and 78 government schools.
Gender-wise analysis reveals that out of the total candidates, 9,318 were boys, with a pass percentage of 91.80%, while 9,596 were girls, boasting a pass percentage of 92.93%.
For Divyang candidates, a total of 464 appeared, out of which 407 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 87.72%. These candidates received various educational facilities to ensure a fair and accommodating examination process.
Furthermore, the results showcase a breakdown based on categories, with pass percentages ranging from 91.67% to 94.66%, emphasizing the diverse academic achievements across different sections of the student population.
The GBSHSE SSC results for the past five years demonstrate consistency, with the current pass percentage aligning closely with previous years. With the declaration of results, students can now plan their next academic steps with clarity and confidence, as they embark on their educational journey towards future endeavours.
