The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) has officially filed a complaint against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for the South Goa Parliamentary Election, Pallavi Dempo. The complaint, addressed to the Chief Electoral Officer of the state, highlights an alleged violation of the Model Code of Conduct.


The complaint letter, signed by Sunil Kawthankar, Vice President of the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee, specifically mentions an incident where Pallavi Dempo purportedly appealed to voters from the Ponda Assembly Segment to support the BJP. This appeal, according to the complaint, was captured on video and widely shared by local media outlets. 


The letter urges the Chief Electoral Officer to take necessary action in light of this alleged violation, stressing the importance of upholding the integrity of the electoral process. It also includes a link to the video footage in question for reference.
