Goa Pradesh Congress Committee organised a peaceful Protest on Monday, June 13 2022 in support of AICC leader Rahul Gandhi who has been called to appear before the Enforcement Directorate, New Delhi on what they called was false charges related to National Herald newspaper

The BJP-led govt is only playing vendetta politics in the country and vindictively targeting our leaders. National Herald paper was established by the Freedom Fighters of India including Jawaharlal Nehru, Vallabh Bhai Patel and others. When the newspaper began to go into losses, the Congress party supported the newspaper by giving a loan of 90 crores to pay the employees. Is paying employees' salaries a crime? There is no offence against the Gandhi's as giving of a loan, payment of a loan is not criminal offences. At the most, there could be a civil matter which is a matter of the Congress party said Congress MLA Carlos Alvares Ferreira. He further added that the vendetta politics which is prevalent throughout BJP-ruled states now can be seen spilling on the roads. If BJP doesn't learn its lessons and take corrective actions then people will come out on the roads and teach the BJP governance. BJP is targeting Congress to score political brownie points.
