The third phase of the Lok Sabha election in Goa saw a great voter turnout, with 31.56% and 30.31% turnout in South and North Goa respectively by 11 am on Tuesday. However, the voters’ turnout was low during early morning with 12.24% turnout in South Goa and 13.61% in North Goa by 9 am. The voter turnout increased significantly later in the day.

The election saw a high participation from postal ballot voting; where Senior citizens, disabled voters, police on duty, and others also turned out in large numbers, with a 94% turnout in postal ballot voting.

Goa has a total of 117,900 voters spread across 1,725 polling stations in the state. Many youths, with many first-time voters, exercise their right to vote. The state witnessed enthusiastic participation from the public, with voters expressing hope for a progressive future and youth empowerment.

All the BJP MLAs were seen voting in their respective constituencies, expressing confidence in their party's chances of securing a good margin of votes.

All the other MLAs also cast their vote and appealed to the citizens to come out in large numbers and exercise their democratic power in shaping the future.

Polling booths were seen with arrangements of refreshments, coolers, and shades to protect the voters from the heat.
