Goa University a colony of Kerala; recruitment rules flouted says Opposition Leader

PORVORIM: Opposition Leader Yuri Alemao said there is fear and anxiety in minds of youth as vacancies announced on 2nd August 2024 specify no requirement of domicile and knowledge of official language of Goa. He raised the issue during Zero Hour on Tuesday.

Secondly, he alleged that Goa University had become a colony of Kerala with Planning Board Members, Finance Committee and Board of Studies members all chosen from Kerala.

CM did not reply to the matter saying the issue was already discussed and he would look into it. Nilesh Cabral too intervened to say that the matter was already discussed. Yuri insisted that the CM should look into this important issue.
