Kala Academy Goa has revealed the talented victors of its esteemed 48th State Art Exhibition (Student Category). Following rigorous evaluation by a distinguished panel of judges comprising Siddharth S. Gosavi, Rajtilak Naik, and Sudin Sonu Kurpaskar, the winners have emerged with outstanding achievements across various sections of artistic expression.


In the Painting and Graphic Print section, Unik Ramchandra Chari clinched the esteemed first prize, demonstrating exceptional prowess in his craft. Meanwhile, Kaushik Korgaonkar and Harsh Ajay Raikar secured the second and third prizes, respectively, showcasing remarkable talent and creativity.


In the Applied Art and Graphic Design category, Khushi Ajay Chodankar rose to prominence, claiming the first prize with her innovative and captivating work. Xena Almeida and Samiksha Mahesh Naik exhibited remarkable skill, earning the second and third prizes, respectively, in this fiercely competitive section.


The Sculpture section witnessed the remarkable triumph of Anish Abhijit Naik, who clinched the first prize with his striking creations. Shriniti Sameer Kubal and Reedhvi Hanumant Thanekar distinguished themselves, securing the second and third prizes, respectively, with their exceptional sculptural works.


Moreover, Pooja Ravindra Kaskar was honored with the prestigious Goa Hindu Association Prize, commemorating the legacy of the late Artist Raoji V. Gaunekar, while the esteemed Late Hanumanth B. Neugi Memorial Prize was bestowed upon Shubham Vilas Palekar for his remarkable contributions to the arts.


Having received a remarkable total of 136 submissions across all sections, the exhibition proudly showcases 81 selected works, reflecting the vibrant and diverse artistic talent prevalent among students in Goa.


Kala Academy Goa has extended heartfelt congratulations to all the prize winners, acknowledging their dedication, creativity, and artistic excellence. Details regarding the Prize Distribution Function will be communicated at a later date, as the academy continues its tradition of fostering and celebrating artistic brilliance in the region.
