Merging schools for improving quality; political parties can't run schools

Goa's Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has said his government is capable of running govt schools and they had kept alive the schools since 2012 and renovated them. Political parties need not take up running schools he said.

Sawant said his govt was proposing to merge schools for improving quality and this will be done by consulting all the stakeholders.
