According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Goa will remain partly cloudy from May 6 to 8. However, sporadic rainfall is predicted between May 9 and 12. The weather is also likely to remain hot and humid today and tomorrow, with the maximum temperature expected to be between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius for the next seven days.
There is no possibility of a major change in the maximum temperature in the next five days in the state. On Monday, Panaji recorded a maximum temperature of 33.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 27 degrees Celsius, while Margao saw a maximum of 33.6 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 27.4 degrees Celsius.
The relative humidity in Panaji was 77 percent and in Margao, it was 84 percent today. The department has clarified that there is no possibility of a major change in relative humidity for the next seven days, and it is likely to be between 80 and 90 percent. The heat index, or the perceived temperature, is expected to remain less than 40 degrees Celsius during these seven days.
