Security Officers from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) conducted a thorough inspection on Monday at the KTC bus stand in Margao, ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled visit to Goa on February 6. The security officials were accompanied by South Goa Collector, SP South, SP Traffic, and MLA Digambar Kamat.

During the inspection, security officers reviewed the arrangements in place and expressed satisfaction with the current security protocols. MLA Digambar Kamat said that the officers have provided some valuable suggestions to enhance security measures further. He assured that these suggestions would be incorporated, and a subsequent review would be conducted in the next two days.

"The program is set, and once the suggested improvements are implemented, we will take another comprehensive review in the next two days," said MLA Digambar Kamat. He emphasized the importance of ensuring foolproof security, especially considering the anticipation of a significant crowd at the public meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Kamat stated, "We are expecting a maximum turnout at the public meeting, given the importance of the occasion. The security arrangements are being fine-tuned to ensure the safety of all attendees."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Goa on February 6 includes the inauguration of the 'India Energy Week' event at Betul, followed by a public meeting in Margao. The event is expected to draw a large audience, and security officials are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the smooth conduct of the programs and the safety of all participants.
