The birth anniversary of Konkani writer & activist 

Waman Raghunath Shennoi Varde Valaulikar known as Shenoi Goembab was celebrated at Peoples’ High School Panjim. Goembab is known as the pioneer of the Konkani language movement. Born on June 23 in Bicholim, Goembab has written more than 22 books in Konkani and has also translated French literature in Konkani
