Tight Security in Place for Amit Shah's Visit to Mapusa

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers held detailed discussions on the arrival of Union Home Minister Amit Shah on 3rd May at Mapusa. BJP conducted a meeting with various government authorities and law enforcement agencies to put in place a comprehensive security setup ahead of the Union Home Minister's impending visit to Mapusa.

Speaking to the media Sidharth Kuncalienker, informed that the security arrangements for the high-profile event will involve a large deployment of personnel from the police department, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), fire services, CID, KTC officials, district collectors, Block Development Officers (BDOs), as well as senior police officials such as the Superintendent of Police (SP) for traffic and north Goa.

However, the event is scheduled to be held on 3rd May Friday at the new bus stand in Mapusa, which has an approximate capacity of 25,000 people. Extensive security measures have been implemented at the venue, including the positioning of a significant police and Armed Reserve Mobile (ARM) force. Additionally, full LED screens and high-functioning cameras have been installed to closely monitor the proceedings.

The focus has been on managing and guiding the security arrangements to ensure a safe and smooth event for Amit Shah's arrival. The BJP leadership in Goa is leaving no stone unturned to make Amit Shah's visit a grand success, while also prioritizing the safety and security of the attendees, he added.
