Kurup was remanded to 14-day judicial custody on Thursday as the police pursue further investigations into the incident.

The accused, behind the wheel of a Haryana-registered SUV, collided with a resort owner who was on the phone outside the reception area, resulting in her tragic death. Two resort staff members, Shiv Mangal Dindo and Rupa Paras, sustained injuries in the same incident and are currently under medical care.
