He said, “I don’t know who sent those men, my wife told me she would watch the tiatr and I always thought she would watch and come back, and inform me. But she couldn’t control her anger at that moment, as the content was personal and against our family.”

‘Succorina’—When this tiatr was staged in 1983-84, its director Menino de Bandar had to appear before the court as the story was based on a true life incidence.
‘Akantvadi Goyant Naka’—This tiatr,which was penned and directed by Tousif de Navelim in 2014, encountered threats and it was forced to stop as it was based on Ram Sena and Muthalik.
‘Akantvadi Part II’—This tiatr written and directed by Tousif de Navelim in 2015 again faced opposition, followed by threats as it revolved on the Muslim terrorist organization, Popular Front of India.
‘Chorit Ravat Punn Ugddas Dhorat’—This tiatr, staged by Roy de Chinchinim in 2015, faced resistance as it highlighted the malpractices of the ruling government in the state.
‘Answer’—This tiatr, written and directed by Conception de Tuem in 2016, faced stiff opposition as the story indirectly reflected the personal life of a tiatrist.
