PANJIM: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) and the Goa Football Association (GFA) will conduct an AFC Goalkeeping Level 1 course from April 22-27 in Goa, in a quest to produce able goalkeeping coaches, who in turn will help develop stellar goalkeeping talents.

The Level 1 course is a basic goalkeeping course for a goalkeeping coach, and is followed by the Level 2 course, which further zooms in on the technicalities in the field of goalkeeping.

In all, 24 participants from all over India including four from Goa will attend the course which will be held at Don Bosco ground, Fatorda.

Yong Wai Hwang from the AFC will be the main course instructor and he will be assisted by Gumpe Rime and Dinesh Nair from the AIFF. Details can be obtained from Genevieve Colaco, AIFF Development Officer with GFA, Panjim. This is the fourth course being coordinated by the Goa from November 2018.
