RAIA: Achi Boys defeated Isla Margarita Assolna 4-1 to emerge champs of 2nd All Goa 7-a-side football tournament organised by Friends Circle of AVCC Boys in memory of Luke D’Costa, at Assolna ground.
Deva of Isla Margarita and Aston of Achi Boys were adjudged as best goalkeeper and highest goal scorer of the tournament respectively.
Desmond Kicks was awarded the best disciplined team while the best defender prize was given to Stalin of Achi Boys.
Cuncolim MLA Yuri Alemao was the chief guest and handed over the prizes in the presence of Leona D’Costa, Filomena Fernandes, Lucia Baptista, Denis Baptista and Shervita Fernandes.
