MAPUSA: Albert Developers SC registered a hard-fought 1-0 win over A A de Moira in the GFA Division I League match played at Poriat ground, Calangute, on Friday.
Albert Developers SC in the 10th minute saw Sushant passed the ball to Cyden, where he missed an easy sitter. In the 22nd minute, Albert Developers SC shot into the lead through Saish Kavelkar, where a free-kick taken by captain Rajat was connected into the goal. On crossing over, A A de Moira put up a lot of pressure on the rivals but their defence stood like a rock through Jude and Paulo and the pressure was less on the goalkeeper.
In the 80th minute, Shankar sent a cross to captain, but he missed an easy sitting to beat the keeper in one to one situation. In the 85th minute, A A de Moira received a penalty for reckless tackle. But A A de Moira missed a chance hitting it far and wide.
