MAPUSA: Augustias Sports Club Pomburpha got the better of Penha de Franca Sports Club 3-2 in the Xetrapal Soccer Cup, organised by Xetrapal Sports Club, played at Oxel ground, Siolim, on Tuesday.

MAPUSA: Augustias Sports Club Pomburpha got the better of Penha de Franca Sports Club 3-2 in the Xetrapal Soccer Cup, organised by Xetrapal Sports Club, played at Oxel ground, Siolim, on Tuesday.
At halftime Penha led 2-1.
Sagar Karapurkar put his side into the lead in the early 5th minute of play through a header only to see David Pereira come with the equaliser within the next four minutes of play.
Minutes before the halftime whistle Mohammad Nadaf scored through a long range effort to give Penha a 2-1 advantage.
On resumption of play Pomburpha were all over their rivals and managed to restore parity once again through David and then score the winning goal in the 48th minute of play through Pundalik Naik, 3-2.
