PEDDA-BENAULIM: Betalbatim Sporting came back from two goal deficit to win the match 4-2 in the tie-breaker against Super Creations, Nuvem and move into the semi finals of the New Era Club Inter-Village Under 14 tournament, organised by New Era Club, Benaulim, played at Xemu Moll ground, Benaulim on Sunday.
Lindon Colaco gave Nuvem lead in the 15 minute, when referee awarded a penalty as Aaron of Betalbatim handled the ball in the penalty box. They soon increased the lead in 22nd minute when Messi chipped the ball over Betalbatim keeper to make the score 2-0 at the break.
After the change of ends Betalbatim regrouped and went all out to reduce the margin and their efforts finally paid off when Shriva Fernandes scored in the 35th minute. Betalbatim equalised through Meagan Fernandes in the dying minutes.
Meagan Fernandes of Betalbatim was declared man-of-the-match for his all round performance.
