CAC Cansaulim go marching into final
NAGOA: CAC Cansaulim got the better of PAX of Nagoa 5-4 via the tie-breaker to move into the final of the Pax of Nagoa football trophy football tournament organised by Pax of Nagoa SC, at Nagoa panchayat ground, Verna, on Sunday.
Both the teams tried to find the match winner but their strikers fumbled with the ball in the final third as it remained goal less at the end of regulation time.
In the resultant tie-breaker, CAC Cansaulim netted through Domnic Soares, Joel Fernandes, C.Furtado, Rafat Baneji and Anthony Cardozo while Myron Fernandes, Hilton Fernandes, Josly Vaz and Joy Ferrao netted for Pax of Nagoa.
CAC Cansaulim will now meet Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda in the final on May 1.
