MAPUSA: CSM de Taleigao managed to edge past Chapora YS by 2-1 margin in the GFA Division I League match held at PVC Parra ground, on Monday.
Both teams played earnestly in search of a win as CSM de Taleigao had drawn their last league match, while Chapora YS lost both of their league matches.
CSM de Taleigao finally won Monday’s encounter and now has four points, while Chapora YS are yet to open their account.
CSM de Taleigao scored a goal in each session of play through Niyaz Tambak (45th minute) and Ayush Mardolkar (66th minute).
Chapora YS scored a very late goal in the 91st minute through the boots of Joaquim Carvalho.
CSM de Taleigao’s Daren Andrade, Selveno Gonsalves and Harshad Madkaikar received caution from referee Yuvraj Tari.
