MAPUSA: Calangute Association’s 1-0 win stopped the winning run of table toppers Vasco Sports Club in the Goa Professional League, at Duler stadium, here, on Saturday.
After Saturday's match, Vasco stays on 12 points yet leading the league table from six matches while Calangute Association with 9 points from 5 league matches climb in the GPL table.
The Capital side that struck in the 60th minute where a delightful perfect cross by Siddhant Shirodkar from the left flank was headed to the far corner of the goal by Cote D'Ivoire Kouame Junior Kossonou to give his side the lead.
